
Dr. Lumana Joseph, PT, DPT
Dr. Lumana Joseph is a graduate of the University of South Florida. Dr. Joseph received her BA in Health Sciences from Florida International University where she developed a lifelong interest in all aspects of Physical Therapy and continued to earn her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She completed her Clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2016.
Dr. Joseph is the president and CEO of Lumana Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, the company that she founded in 2011, which she built on the fundamental belief that quality rehabilitation services can help restore optimal function and promote independence.
Dr. Joseph is passionate about community services and giving back. She volunteers at numerous community events providing educational series and exercise classes to various groups of people. Dr. Joseph is the Vice-Chairwoman of the Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (HACCOF), board member of the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce, treasurer for the House of New Vision and Hope, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), sits on various boards for the City of North Miami, and is currently working on establishing The Lumana Foundation to help the underserved and underprivileged by educating, facilitating, and providing tools necessary to enrich one’s life. She volunteers on medical mission trips yearly providing care to the less fortunate.
